Fresh off an electrifying performance at Reggae Land UK, internationally-acclaimed dancehall artist Kranium on Friday, Aug. 7, officially announced his highly anticipated New York City headline concert at Sony Hall on Oct. 15, 2026.<\/p>\n
\u201cWidely recognized as one of dancehall’s most distinctive voices, Kranium returns to the city he proudly calls home for an intimate performance celebrating a career that has consistently bridged dancehall, reggae and R&B while earning a devoted global fanbase,\u201d Ronnie Tomlinson, a Jamaican-born, Brooklyn-based entertainment publicist, told Caribbean Life.<\/p>\n
She said the announcement follows the release of Kranium\u2019s latest EP, \u201cA Slight Delay,\u201d which \u201cshowcases Kranium’s continued artistic evolution while staying true to the melodic sound that has made him one of Jamaica’s most recognizable contemporary artists.\u201d<\/p>\n
Earlier this year, Tomlinson, the CEO of New York-based Destine Media, Inc., said Kranium also embarked on his \u201c\u2019A Slight Delay Tour,\u2019 bringing the new music directly to fans across multiple markets.\u201d<\/p>\n
Since bursting onto the international scene with the Platinum-certified anthem \u201cNobody Has to Know,\u201d Tomlinson said Kranium has continued to build \u201can impressive catalog of global hits.\u201d<\/p>\n
She said Kranium\u2019s breakout single has earned multi-Platinum and Gold certifications across several territories, including Platinum in the United States and Canada, multi-Platinum in the United Kingdom, and Gold certification in New Zealand.<\/p>\n
Tomlinson said Kranium has also earned additional certifications for fan favorites, including \u201cGal Policy\u201d and \u201cWe Can.\u201d<\/p>\n
She said Kranium, known affectionately as \u201cThe Melody Gad,” has collaborated with some of music’s biggest names while maintaining \u201ca sound uniquely his own.<\/p>\n
\u201cHis effortless ability to blend dancehall authenticity with contemporary influences has positioned him as one of the genre’s most influential voices over the past decade,\u201d Tomlinson said.<\/p>\n
