{"id":5729,"date":"2025-04-23T16:53:48","date_gmt":"2025-04-23T16:53:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/islandflavaradio.com\/index.php\/2025\/04\/23\/reggae-sumfest-tixes-moving-along-nicely\/"},"modified":"2025-04-23T16:53:48","modified_gmt":"2025-04-23T16:53:48","slug":"reggae-sumfest-tixes-moving-along-nicely","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/islandflavaradio.com\/index.php\/2025\/04\/23\/reggae-sumfest-tixes-moving-along-nicely\/","title":{"rendered":"Reggae Sumfest tixes \u2018moving along nicely\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Reggae Sumfest Executive Producer and CEO Joe Bogdanovich says ticket sales for the summer festival, from Jul. 13 to Jul. 19, in Montego Bay, Jamaica are \u201cmoving along nicely.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bogdanovich told <strong>Caribbean Life<\/strong> on Tuesday, April 22, that since he launched Reggae Sumfest 2025 last Friday, ticket sales have been \u201coff and running.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe got off to a late start, but sales are moving along nicely,\u201d said Bogdanovich, \u00a0who was recently in New York for Vybz Kartel&#8217;s historic back-to-back, sold-out concert at the Barclays Arena, downtown Brooklyn.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEarly Bird VVIP Centre Stage tickets for Friday night are now sold out, so, too, are Weekend Early Bird Ultra VIP Seat tickets,\u201d he disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>Asked about the \u201cVybz Kartel effect\u201d on ticket sales for Festival Night 1, Friday, July 18, Bogdanovich said things were going better than expected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFriday is looking very strong, while Saturday is closing the gap daily since we launched on Friday at 6:00 p.m.,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_72711\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-72711\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-72711\" src=\"https:\/\/www.caribbeanlife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/reggae-sumfest-tixes-moving-along-2025-04-24-nk-cl02.jpg?quality=51&amp;w=700\" alt=\"Shenseea performing in Poughkeepsie, New York.\" width=\"700\" height=\"396\" title=\"\"><p id=\"caption-attachment-72711\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span class=\"image-caption\">Shenseea performing in Poughkeepsie, New York. <\/span><span class=\"image-credit\">Photo by Anthony &#8220;ER Guru&#8221; Turner<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<p>Bogdanovich also said that online ticket sales have exceeded expectations, with strong support from international markets including the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, the USA and France.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s no festival like Reggae Sumfest \u2014 it\u2019s a different kind of cultural energy,\u201d he said, stating that the festival\u2019s marketing push \u201cspans social media, online radio, the US Diaspora, and the official website and reggaesumfest.com, where fans can find details about the lineup, tickets, and more.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTraditional promotion methods, such as flyers and posters in Diaspora communities are also being used,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>As for the artists\u2019 lineup for the 34th edition of Reggae Sumfest, Bogdanovich said more announcements are coming.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re looking forward to announcing a surprise artist and other fun-loving elements that will add even more spice to this 34-year-strong reggae\/dancehall celebration,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Bogdanovich stressed that Kartel will headline Friday night&#8217;s star-studded lineup, alongside Masicka, Tommy Lee Sparta, Govana, Skeng, D&#8217;Yani, Laden, Shaneil Muir, Young Wild Apache and Jah Fabio;
