Renowned Jamaican reggae artiste Bounty Killer, whose real name is Basil Pryce, says he has returned to the US after 15 years.<\/p>\n
\u201cFifteen years ago, I lost my US visa and have been waiting patiently to have it restored ever since. A few days ago, I finally had it restored,\u201d said Bounty Killer in a statement on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
\u201cFirst and foremost, I want to acknowledge and express my deepest gratitude to God, the source of all my blessings,\u201d he added. \u201cI am forever grateful for His divine intervention.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bounty also extended his \u201cheartfelt appreciation\u201d to his beloved, late mother, \u201cMs. Ivey.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cMay she rest in peace,\u201d he added. \u201cGod bless you, mama.\u201d<\/p>\n
To his \u201cdear friend, brother and manager,\u201d Paul \u201cBankey\u201d Giscombe, Bounty Killer expressed his \u201cdeepest gratitude\u201d for Giscombe\u2019s \u201crelentless pursuit\u201d to restore his visa.<\/p>\n
\u201cBankey, you never lost hope, even when we faced numerous rejections,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
In addition, Bounty Killer thanked the US Consulate General for \u201ctheir unwavering support and assistance throughout the visa process.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am forever grateful for all efforts in resolving my issue,\u201d he said. \u201cThanks also to the staff members at the embassy who consistently greeted me with warm smiles and provided exceptional service.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bounty Killer also gave \u201cbig thanks\u201d to his \u201cincredible lawyer, who put this final application together and made its success a reality, despite the challenges we faced.<\/p>\n
