La Fortune, a Brooklyn resident, told <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Caribbean Life<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;Through their tireless efforts, these artists have shared reggae&#8217;s uplifting rhythms and profound messages of love, unity, and resilience,&#8221; she added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">LaFortune, a prolific artist currently working on completing her third album, said she continues to create music that touches hearts and inspires positive change.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">LaFortune said &#8220;The Message&#8221; is &#8220;a testament to reggae&#8217;s universal power.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">With poetic lyrics and an infectious rhythm, the song, she said, highlights the journeys of reggae bands that have carried their music across continents &#8220;from the mountains to the seas.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">As the lyrics proclaim, &#8220;We carry the message from coast to coast, moving east, west, north and south,&#8221; LaFortune said the song &#8220;salutes the mission of reggae artists who bring their music to those who need it most.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;The track emphasizes reggae&#8217;s inclusivity and power to connect people from all walks of life,&#8221; she added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">With lines like &#8220;We don&#8217;t care if they look like we, we are following our destiny,&#8221; LaFortune said &#8220;The Message&#8221; LaFortune said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;This fusion further emphasizes reggae&#8217;s ability to adapt, innovate, and resonate with diverse audiences while staying true to its roots,&#8221;
