Written by on April 2, 2026

Terry Ganzie, known as “The Outlaw,” is gaining momentum on US radio as his single “Same Africans” leaps 38 spots to #97 on the Spin Counts Top 150 chart.
“The move pushes the track into the Top 100 for the first time, building on what already marked Ganzie’s first appearance on the national airplay chart,” Flair Lindsay, Caribbean entertainment publicist of Acclaim PR, told Caribbean Life on Tuesday, March 31.

The gain reflects expanding radio support across US markets, with the Rggae and Dancehall artist rising alongside major label acts currently driving the chart, Lindsay added.

Ganzie said: “To see ‘Same Africans’ connecting on this level is powerful.”
He said the song is about “unity, identity, and our shared roots as a people.
“The fact that it’s rising on the charts and reaching audiences across the US shows that the message is resonating far and wide,” Ganzie said.
Produced by Temps Music and AfroWorld Music, Lindsay said “Same Africans” continues “Ganzie’s long-standing tradition of conscious music.”
She said the single follows “We Rise,” which resonated as a message of resilience across the Caribbean.
“With continued airplay growth and upward chart movement, ‘Same Africans’ signals renewed momentum for ‘The Outlaw’ Terry Ganzie, reinforcing his standing as a defining voice in Reggae and Dancehall while connecting with a new generation of listeners,” Lindsay said.
